I respect the basic concept of PETA, but the application, the members, and their causes are all jsut so ridiculous and utterly unattainable that they have reached a status of self-parody unmatched in pop culture. On the other hand, at least Britney is TRYING to get herself back together, and I can have a little respect for her for that. I hate her music, find her videos poorly composed, and her to be insane, but at least she has a little worth to society. Still, I say take both, cram them in a box, and launch them into the sun.

I agree wholeheartedly with PETA. She also wears fur. Ugh! I'm sure the fur looked better on the original owners. You know, real fur, fake people.

That is the biggest complaint against Britney Spears they could come up with. I am forced to listen to B.S. noise pollution every time I carpool in my co-worker's car. I think that my gripes about B.S. noises are actually meritorious.

I HATE cruelty to animals. . .almost as much as I hate PETA. Terrorism is terrorism and they are among the wackos who have gone to the point at which animals have MORE rights than human animals. I love animals, I would imprison people for being gratuitously cruel to them, but I might do it myself in response to a PETA demand, just to show them how much I hate them.

PETA will always have a problem with everything... what is it about this video? I have only seen little bits of it. PETA almost makes me laugh at them instead of taking them seriously.

If she wore fur than good on them. If not, they're overreacting.

I don't have a problem with either. PETA complains alot, Britney has had a bit of a go of it too (famous so young would skew your view of reality quite a bit, but for her, it is the only world she knows) so as long as the entire animal is used / consumed why shouldn't we have a few fur coats. Yeah it makes them more expensive because they *should* be extreemly rare but with her pocketbook it isn't unrealistic.
