I am an American thinking of permanently moving to Europe. I have heard that some countries are better than others because of language barriers and stuff. I am thinking between the U.K., Italy, France, Ireland, Netherlands. Which is best for the move?

im from the UK so my answer is probably biased but i think moving to the UK is probably easier because we have same language. Its a great country and london is great. Altho france is a great place but i wulnt wanna live there myself. My brother says italy is amazing but not sure myself. I think maybe moving to the UK and then just travel to other countries ure interested in.

Do you smoke weed? If so, Amsterdam's your place. Otherwise, move to London. It's such a cool city. Very expensive, though.

Northern Ireland is in the UK. Anyway, it would be easiest for you to move to either the UK, or Ireland because of the language thing. But then you've got which country you'd actually want to move to, to consider.

I would suggest the UK, or Holland.The Dutch are a very friendly race and most of them speak English, and really appreciate the Americans,Canadians and British. Another country to think about is Belgium and the capital Brussels is a very interesting city.The Belgians are famous for their beer and chocolate.The republic of Ireland is OK too,but has got too expensive since they opted for the Euro and the world slump is hitting them quite hard. Although I have been to France many times on holiday I do not know what it would be like to live there in a big city.In all countries mentioned there are plenty of houses on the market to buy and to rent.
