Is it legal to drive with a green marker or decorative light on my car top? Yellow is legal since taxis use them, just wondering if a green one is ok?

Where do you live exactly? I would recommend calling your local police non-emergency line and asking someone there. If they say it's fine, get a name and rank. You can also look up your local Highway Traffic Act. If you are willing to read through the legalese, then you should be able to find the section dealing with vehicle lights. I would caution that it may be illegal, or it would at least earn you a 'please take it off' if you get pulled over.
