I am using MS Access, with sub forms. I have 2 forms, student details & support details connected via the student's ID number. The forms are connecting fine until I attempt to add a new record, where the ID No doesn't transfer across to the sub form. Why?

If the forms are based on tables the ID number will have to be entered manually. You need to base the sub-form on a query. Without more information about your Forms' design that's all I can offer I'm afraid.
