I'd say so, especially in our technologically-saturated society, because it's so easy to go on autopilot and allow hours and days of life to be devoted to relatively mindless pursuits. From playing various online games to just shoveling through stuff on the internet, time flies and with it opportunities to do stuff that's arguably closer to "living". Maybe "Kill your television" should be reinvented for our age as "Kill your internets".

No. I think life is straight forward. I believe you give what you get, and I don't think that there's anything tricky about living your life. Elusive perspectives of reality - now - that is a different story altogether!

It isn't for me. It's as real, tangible and hold onto able as it gets. Now..I discuss the abstract concepts of person-specific truth and parallel universes and timespace..but that is just letting my brain play around..I'm grounded here and I find nothing at all elusive about my life! :) ((hugs))

I feel that reality itself can be elusive, but life is very, very real (in good times and bad). So many people try to escape from their own life only to miss out on the life that is all around them. I feel that the only way to make the most out of life is by learning as much as possible, understanding how others really think and feel, keeping yourself healthy, and by being an active part of the lives of friends and family. As Ferris Bueller said: "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
