I'm quite good at using accents when talking in another language particularly french and Spanish as I have had more practice with them.

I am like a sponge, withing a couple minutes I am talking like that person.

A friend once said I have a portable accent. I unknowingly pick up whatever speech pattern is most predominant near me.

A natural? Yeah, you could say that. It's always easier when you've dealt with a lot of people who speak a foreign language. My friends love having me around when we travel or even just at the local authentic Mexican or Japanese restaurants.

nope - absolutely useless!! im stuck with this cockney accent, cant even change that ha!

I'm not exactly sure, as I haven't spoken to a whole lot of people with accents, but I met a kid who moved from Britain once and slipped into that accent for just a second, even though I'd been trying not to (I don't want him to think I'm mocking him or anything). And if I hear an accent for even a very short while, the voice I use to think in my head will be speaking that way for DAYS.
