The original Dawn of the Dead. So boring I could cry, but as you said, I forced myself to watch so I could appreciate the remake more.

I've never felt forced to watch any zombie movie. Even the crap ones are good. That said, I had little expectations for the Dawn remake and Land of the Dead, but they weren't bad after all, even though I prefer classic zombies as opposed to the Superman style ones. If I ever really had to force myself, it would be with the first and second Resident Evil movies. Just knowing by who they were produced made me sick, and even the previews didn't enthrall me, and for good reason. But, I saw them anyways.

I half to say one movie made me ask this question. Even if it's a comedy Redneck Zombies is horrible bad acting, bad makeup and bad script. The only reason I watched it was I thought it would get better farther in like Dead Alive. Sorry if that sounded like a rant but if you don't believe me here's the trailer.

House of the Dead 2. This movie makes the Resident Evil films look brilliant. It starts off ok, but by the time the guys show up to fight the zombies, I just wanted to kill myself- its THAT embaressing to watch. I haven't bothered to track down the first movie.
