Yes. It happens and then they bully others in adulthood!

There is substantial evidence that experiencing traumatic events as a child causes permanent alterations in several neurotransmitter pathways, meaning that it permanently alters behavior. You don't really get over trauma, you adapt to having experienced it. The saying that time heals all wounds is not correct when used regarding childhood trauma. Research is currently underway around the world to find a way to help people that have this type of experience, it is a difficult challenge because traumatic events alter gene expression.

Yes. i carried it on into my adult hood. i was always depressed and everything but i dont care anymore. I don't care what other people think about me. The can bully me all they want but it won't hurt me. And we don't go bullying other people most of the time. we get depressed and feel powerless. I never got over my parents abusising me, every way possible, or getting raped. I chose not to be a victim to it. they can't destrot my life.

I think almost everyone has had traumatic experiences as a child. I think most of these experiences build strength. I've noticed that people who have had to endure some trauma tend to be the strongest people I've met. People who have been completely sheltered and indulged don't handle the world very well.
