  • You can take the seats off and go to a junk yard and find other seats.
  • A lot of seats from other Honda's will swap over with very little modification. Usually you'll only have to drill a new hole or two on the rails to get the seat to fit. From my experience a lot of Honda seats are crummy on those long trips, my butt will go numb within an hour or two, or it could just be my crummy back. :P
  • I have the same problem with a 1991 Honda Accord. Its my wife's car and everytime we go on a trip, my back suffers. There is no lumbar(lower back) support in the seats. I have found a pillow thats rectangular in shape and about 14 inches wide to use behind my back, in her car. It has worked for me. Find a nice used pillow at Goodwill for about 3-4 bucks.
