How could someone be dumb enough to put their real phone number on their profile for a website like AB?

I don't think they think. They don't realize that ID theft is out there and that even on a site like AB there are perverts, child molestors, murderers, etc. on here. They never think that someone can take their #, track them down and hurt them. They are naive. I have seen them list their real names and addresses on here too which is STUPID STUPID STUPID.. THis is all a criminal needs to ruin a life..

No way but it amazes me how many people. Are they that naive to not know that ID theft is a major problem or that people here on AB have already been targeted and threatened and harassed just because..I will NEVER be that stupid. I have never mentioned so much as my city online I certainly won't ever give that info.

No, and I wouldn't call it necessarily stupid. More like careless or inexperienced, too trusting, immature. IT happens at times. I often get requests from people two have written their address like a street name or their email addy here on AB and they would like it removed.

I don't do that. I have other people's names, numbers, and addresses posted.
