  • I've never been there but would love to go some time In the near future.
  • I've been and didn't like it to be honest. Though I do like the rest of France, particularly the south.
  • If you're a city lover, it's one of the most fascinating places in the world. Very expensive for Americans but still worth a visit if you have the money. Something interesting to see around every corner, beautiful, cultural, sophisticated, a real feast for the senses. A walking city but they also have an excellent, easy to navigate metro system. Also a great place to base yourself for day trips out of the city, to Versailles and Giverny (Monet's home) for example. Many people believe that the French are rude. I find them to be much like they are in New York, where I live. Busy and living their lives but willing to help should you need it. Especially if you make even the smallest attempt to speak the language. If you have the chance, go! I'd love to get back there myself;)
  • I haven't, and I don't think I'd like it... Oh... the city? I haven't been there either, but there's a good chance I'd enjoy that.
  • I want to go to paris and hang out. Buy art, drink wine, and eat fluffy pastries. Oh and see the sites too. I have never gone but that is on the list. Once I get Italy out of my system (which I dont know if it is possible) I will be there and it will be good.
  • I've been 4 times. I loved it. There is something magical in the air that just makes you want to have your lover along. Go to the sites, eat in the cafes', go to the morning market and get olives with a fresh loaf of bread, and find a park to enjoy it. I've been in 2 to 5 star hotels and as long as the bed is comfortable and they have hot water, I'm happy. Don't spend to much on the accommadations, you won't be in the room long enough. Use the money for the street vendors and the museums instead. I wouldn't spend more then four days there - so if you can split your trip between the city and the country side- do it!
  • I've been to Paris many times, and it is a fantastic city. Even when on my own I found lots to do. There is nothing better than just sitting in a café having dinner and sipping wine. Or sitting on a terrace on a warm night having a coffee or drink, by the Seine or in any one of numerous chic quartiers. I can`t see how anyone could dislike going to Paris, it just has too much to offer.
  • I thought it was lovely. It's got a nice feel to it, if you know what I mean. But god, all of those women are bloody gorgeous. I've never felt more insecure in my life.
  • I've been...I'm glad I went and experienced it but it was far from my favorite!! Give me Italy any day!!
  • I have been there many times, and I love “Le quarter latin”.
  • Yes I love Paris and have visited it frequently. My favourite is the left Bank , MonMartre.
  • been......just not sophisticated, i guess-i suffered culture shock when dealing with the parisians (sp?)-loved the architecture, etc-tho!
