Does anyone else think Boston Legal is one of the best shows on television? I don't understand how it got cancelled.

I have only recently started watching this show and I love it. Fortunately, I have most of the reruns to watch for the first time. I dont know how long it has been on but some shows do go stale after a while

David Kelly, the writer/producer, is a flaming liberal and many of the shows were nothing more than a pulpit for his views. In talking with others, I've learned that many were just turned off by thinly veiled plots which were nothing more than a soapbox for his views. I assume the network received many emails and letters from viewers who were fed up and stated they would no longer watch or patronize the sponsors. Too bad, because it's one of the best.
