For those of you who play RPG games, do you prefer the classics like the Original Final Fantasy games, Chrono Trigger, Zelda, etc, or more modern ones? Why?

classics....absolutely new ones are great for graphics, but u play for story and it seems that as technology gets better they focus more on what it looks like than the story line. example in my opinion the stories from ff7 and 9 are way better than those of ff10 and 12
