When I was a kid, in the early sixties, I remember the "Dodge Matador". In English a "Matador" is a bullfighter....but in Spanish a Matador is a Killer! Yikes!!!! Also, I there was the "Chevy Nova". In Spanish "no va" means "it doesn't go!"....not a good description for a car....
