    Two completely seperate issues. People who don't want to have kids should do everything possible to prevent pregnancy from happening. A vasectomy is a great way to do that. Once you become pregnant (or get someone pregnant), it's a whole different ball game then. The fetus has a right to life and should be protected.

    You could compare a vasectomy with a hysterectomy, those both prevent pregnancy, but not abortion, that isnt a preventive measure.

    I'm not sure why you are comparing abortion to a vasectomy?!?!?! Getting a vasectomy if you don't want children is far better than getting a woman pregnant and letting her deal with getting an abortion.
