The men in question probably do it because they perhaps don't find their appearance attractive, and perhaps maybe unpleasant. I can't fault them for this (each to their own), but I must admit it's fairly rude and impolite to do this.

Im not "big" in the way that I think the question was meant but I still can get dirty looks from men and women. Limakilo is right, it is rude and impolite no matter what to give anyone dirtly looks because of the physical appearance. People tend to lash out against things or people that are different from them. I think this comes out of inscurity. When I was overweight in H.S. people used to tease me. I was very shy and it hurt and never said a word back but now they can just kiss my hot butt! LOL

I guess they have a preconceived picture of what beauty is .....those guys are shallow but they're probably young too and haven't figured out what really is most important.
