  • No. That's an unncessary P.C. concept. The people by definition includes everybody.
  • That's silly. You are promoting the differences between people, not nullifying them as "the people" does.
  • Only if people were excluded from voting just because they belonged to a certain group.
  • Aha! Someone who finally sees that there is no such thing as a true democracy. And when we say "the people" we should mean the people as you have pointed out. However, we are actually a republic and not a democracy. So why Bush is trying to push democracy down the throats of other countries is beyond me when we ourselves are not a true democracy.
  • Death is the only truly democratic 'institution'. ;-)
