About as safe as it is to study a broad anywhere else I suppose. Just make sure she doesn't have a husband.

No. It's safer than northern Pakistan, but so is India.

What do you mean by southern pakistan? Can you name the city & the institute? All areas are safe except for the northern tribal areas.
