G'day Pimp my Pimple, Thank you for your question. It remains to be seen. He certainly has the job ahead of him. Regards
-
I think he will try. I have no idea of how successful he will be...only history will tell that.

I'm starting to feel sorry for him. He can't possibly live up to the hype. He's a politician, not a demi-god
-
The media has him not only walking on the water but changing it into his favorite wine! When you reach such stratospheric levels the fall can kill you from the smallest mistake! He's already attempting to backpedal on his campaign promises! Now he wants to take the troops from Iraq and place them in Afghanistan and possibly Pakistan! He's going to raise taxes to new unimagined levels and his appointment of his israeli supported chief of staff shows what to expect in the future!

Superman couldn't save America and he ain't no Superman

Bush has done so much damage to this country that one single person can not repair the damage right now. Obama however is probably not going to be the solution. He was elected solely on media hype and not politics. He is a celebrity and nothing more.

Yes. With each American's help and full participation.

IMHO, America isn't really broken. The economic mess needs attention, but the economic mess is only one aspect of a country and it isn't limited to an America only problem and solution. As globally intertwined as the world's economic system is, everyone will have something to do, I think. Will Obama fix it? I think the question should be can Obama fix it? In the context of my thoughts above, I don't think he, or any President, could by their self. He might inspire or lead the way, but he can't do it solo.
