  • 3x-y = 8 3x = 8+y Taking x = 1 we get 3*1 = 8 + y So y = 3-8 y = -5 Taking x = 2 we get 3*2 = 8 + y y = 6-8 y = -2 Taking x = 3 we get 3*3 = 8 + y y = 9-8 y = 1 There fore your three ordered pairs are: (1, -5) , (2, -2) , (3, -1) Now you probably have to draw the points on a graph paper. Remember that the X - cordinate(horizontal) is first then the y axis (vertical). After plotting it should give you a straigh diagnol line.
