Why do some men enjoy cross dressing

Everybody should be entitled to express themselves in anyway they so please. Whether they feel more comfortable like that or are mearly curious. It's a free world (or it should be)

Well I completely understand it. For girls we can dress anyway we want and public accepts it. I can go out in a very short skirt with almost nothing on under it knowing full well I will probably be exposed and enjoy it knowing I won't get a ticket for indecent exposure.... Officer... it was the wind really!

Or I can put on a pair of jeans and a baggy shirt and hide everything.

I can dress up or down.

Guys don't have that flexibility and I wish they did. I know quite a few guys that I would love to see in a short man skirt. I know it would be way more healthy for them. But society would laugh them off the face of the planet.

Being able to dress how I want is one of the best things about being a girl.

I love drag queens and crossdressers. Its the best to watch a guy get dressed up as sexy as hell in womens clothes and heels. The best thing I ever did was turning my man into a full crossdresser. Not only do I have a shopping buddy but watching him put on pantyhose and his knee high boots makes me want to screw his brains out

As a cross-dresser for the past 55 years, I also wonder. I think there are two answers.

1. What caused it? Nobody really knows (certainly NOT "Something terrible must have happened to them in their childhood"). Perhaps it's connected to hormones in the mother's womb or perhaps it comes from early upbringing. In any event it happens, for many cross-dressers I know - before the age of five or six.

2. What's the big deal in adult life? This is highly complex, so I'll just list a few of the kicks I get out of it:

It feels sexy
It feels sensual
It's terrifying and that can be a turn-on, like sky-diving
It's liberating - I can behave like most men never do
It's educational - I see and do things men don't
It's cheeky - I feel like a spy in enemy territory
It winds up bigots no end

guys enjoy cross dressing because its there way of felling submissive its a fetish the same way some people fantasize about being raped or being choked or being tied up or pain turns them on it makes a guy hard and a girl wet so they do it!

its like being a totally different person. it does feel good to wear silky pantyhose that your wife or gf has already worn. surprisenly a lot of women like to help there man get all dressed up and dress as twins

I love the feeling of a great pair of good-quality pantyhose sliding up freshly-shaved legs. I love the feeling of freedom and sensuality that comes with wearing short skirts. I love the position that high heels put my legs and butt in, and I thoroughly enjoy walking in them. I love the way it all looks on me. I love the attention that it brings me when I'm walking around in an outfit far more sensual, attractive, and fun than a boring pair of pants. Honestly, what's not to love?

this always confuses me , I am male and don't x dress but what is the difference between a woman wearing a trouser suit with a blouse (shirt) and a guy wearing a dress, surely both are x- dressing.... anyway I have a kilt which I wear on loads of occasions and no-one has a problem with that.....

At an extreme, I don't understsand the drive. But I have worn panties a few times out of the house, and jerked off in panty hose. The material feels great, but you ladies know that. You get sensations from womens undergarments that you can't get from men's. There is also the taboo of it all. Anything you "shouldn't do" sexually charges you up when you do it. So, it a nutshell, for some men, dressing up in full garb may give them a sexual charge like no other.

For me, it's about feeling feminine. I love to be in pastel colors, lacy things. Women have such pretty things to wear, and I love being in pretty things. I am not gay, I love women, and aren't attracted to guys, but I sure love dressing as a woman. And pretty lacy things make me feel... feminine.. One of the most amazing experiences I have had was to go out and spend a day trying on beautiful wedding dresses. I just loved looking at my self in some beautiful gowns, with a veil, and a train, and everything. Women are so lucky to have such things as be acceptable.

As a perfectly hetrosexual male, who loves to be dressed in pretty lingerie, and pretty dresses, I can tell you what I think. I love the feeling of female clothes, the freedom, I love the prettyness of the clothes, and it makes me feel so free and feminine. Yes, feminine. I am very much an "alpha male" (I hate that term) in all aspects of my life. By being pretty, dressed in lace, I can let that go, and be someone else, and it renews me somehow. Women in business dress in mens clothes often, as in a business suit. So this is the corollary. I just wish it was socially acceptable.

Why do women enjoy crossdressing? The only difference is that it's socially acceptable for a woman to wear manly clothes or mens clothes.
And womens clothes are much nicer and more expressive, as is makeup.

i dont cross dress but women get to wear better clothing than men.a skirt would b excellent to wear and what about stockings and skirt suits.

For me it is a form of submission and humiliation. Heels are a good way for my wife to know that I am busily clicking around in the laundry room and not sitting or taking a break. Wearing feminine clothes greatly increases my submissiveness and keeps me very much in line.

I just enjoy the silky feel of certain clothes against my skin and the way my legs look when I wear heels. I love to be able to walk around the back patio in the freedom of a skirt on a warm day and feel the air up my legs. Women have so much freedom in what they wear. No one looks strange at them when they shop for clothes in the men's department and takes the clothes into the dressing room to try them on, but let a guy try that with a nice dress and he gets all sorts of snide comments and rude looks.
