I need to do a performance art piece in art class...it should not be noticeable...what can I do?

This is interesting. Do you mean the rest of the class isn't to be told that you are performing a piece. Kind of like covert art operation. Then little by little they might start picking up on what you are doing? Must it be visual art or just a performance of some kind. I mean will there be product at the end or is it just the act?

I was thinging of a scripted series of actions triggered by a common occourance in the classroom such as a question being asked. Evey time a Q is asked you stand up stare forward 2 seconds, check your watch, drop a pencil pick it up and sit down. Or you could add one event to the end of the sequence every time the occourance happens so by the end of the class you are doing a long elaborate sequence of events all in the exact same order and way.Like that song ...and a partrige in a pear tree. You could make each action so mundane on its own that it would never be noticed but the chain will be able to be picked up on only by people that are perceptive and only after repetition.
