Who is smarter? shikamaru or kakashi?

Well just based on experience alone kakashi has more knowledge. He also knows overall more about a lot of techniques and how to counter them. But given that shikamaru has limited battle experience and is already on par with kakashis thinking ahead reading, judging and figuring out abilities id say that shikamaru would surpass kakashi easily.
