Well, if you can't be honest and true with yourself, then you'll never be able to be as such with the rest. As psychology might suggest, the stinkiest shit is one's own, so the self is the biggest challenge. If one may overcome this, and KEEP overcoming it, then it's a good start. Of course, do we really ever know ourselves? Well, even if we perceive a false truth, at least the intention is there, although that may simply lead into believing what one wishes about everybody else, too. Still, I agree, that is if it's even possible. But then, exactly because of this...we can't ever lie to ourselves. Maybe it's totally possible, since I'm guessing that all the projection and delusions people do to themselves and deliver unto others is precisely BECAUSE of inner truths which we do not like. :/ In fact, ya know, I'm staring to think, this entire "we never really know ourselves" is probably a whole lot of bull, and is actually just an excuse to NOT face ourselves.
