What is your reason for always keeping the same avatar? Or, if you always change your avatar - why? Do you think this says anything about your personality?

I keep my avatar and don't switcheroo because I want for my friends to be able to find me. Isn't that the point? But...just like some women keep the same cosmetic routine from high school to the grave, I know that some people like to change their avatars so, yes, I do think avatar-switcherility (lol) says something about people's personality. Nothing good or bad, just how much variety they desire to spice up their lives. I almost always order the same entree from my favorite restaurants, over and over. When I order something different, I am often disappointed. I also spent a whole day considering the comliness of my avatar, knowing that I would probably keep it a long time...not necessarily forever, but quite a while.

I wanted an avatar for this site so I took a picture of my dying plant in my flat becuase I thought it looked rather pretty dying.

I like it. I like the peace sign. I is animated and looks nice with the blue peaceful sky. It says I am an animated person who feels like he is spinning alot I suppose.

I only switched my avatar for tonight. To celebrate my experise in celebrities and fast food. I will go back to my kitty face again.

I usually keep an avatar of my cockatiel, because shes my little guardian angel on earth, I love her! But sometimes I change it for a little bit, then I go back to my Tiel!

I am happy not to change my avatar, but when i saw one the same as mine, i changed it then.

I think that mine is absolutely hilarious, I really couldn't care less if someone doesn't find me funny, I make myself laugh...a lot, so an avatar of David Hasselhoff is funny...especially one of him in his Knight Rider days giving a big sarcastic thumbs up. I haven't changed because I haven't found one that makes me laugh more than this.

ive changed mine a couple times, but im always wondering if people still recognize me. lol. the one i have now is a couple sitting on a motorcycle in europe kissing. i thought it was sweet and romantic and id love to be that girl hehe. here is a bigger pic of it.

I changed mine a few times trying to find one I liked. I originally had a miniature view of my desktop wallpaper, then my favorite car, and a failed attempt at a animated avatars. Finally, I settled on a South Park avatar that is actually fairly close to my actual appearance. I like it and I think I'll keep it.

I keep the same avatar because it is a picture of me but far enough away so as not to frighten the natives. Also I find it very difficult to change anyway

My avatar is of my two children. I am very proud of them and want to show them off and show the love that is between the two of them.

I keep mine for any forum that I'm on because it says everything I want said without the need to spell it out. If picture is worth 1,000 words, then a great avitar is worth at least 642 words!

I've only had it for a couple of weeks now. I like it. But people do seem to have difficulty knowing exactly what it is. I wonder if I should find another one and change it. Do you think it needs to be changed? :)

I never had an avatar until I joined AB. Now I use this one everywhere. It's just a huge rock in Lake Champlain known as Rock Dunder to most, but by the native Abnaki tribe it is known by my username. The significance of it runs pretty deep (wow, I just realized the symbolism there!). I grew up in the Champlain Valley. That's where I learned most of my life lessons. It took me till my late thirties to really decide who the heck I am, and what I stand for. As it happens most of what I decided goes right back to what I learned while growing up there. Finally, I feel firm about who I am. The rock, Odzihozo is the perfect symbol for how I feel about myself. A rock in serene water, most of the time. I have another I use rarely, of Odzihozo in a storm. It's who I am. I may change it briefly from time to time, but I'll always go back to the rock.

I get attached to it, I would feel bad, currently, if I changed it. I tried to change this one, but went back to it, just didn't feel right. Felt bad with my last avatar, too.

I keep this one because I think it's fun - I like that whole idea of having a superhero personae :)
