    I have been dealing with lichen planus for the past 9 years. I have tried everything, from topical steroids to soaking in water with salt. Nothing seems to work. My doctor says if the medical profession knew the cause, they would find a cure. Not very encouraging at all. Very uncomfortable, itching, scratching, lisions, infection, you name it, I've got it.
