Updated: I was single because I am not a fan of causal relationships and I was not ready to start a serious relationship. I am now in a serious relationship, and very happy. :-)

I'm single. Borderline not, haha. I went on a date last night, and he asked if I'd like to have another. It looks good from my view, haha. Haven't been this happy in a while. I'm single because I chose to be. I decided that I need to stop being impulsive. I sort of felt like I was jumping in too quick with things in general, so I just stopped everything cold turkey. Only now I'm starting to shove myself back into the whole going out, dating, having fun thing. And so I look forward to having the second date, and more to come, haha.

I am single because I have been divorced for 18 years. I was married for 24 years and involved with my ex-wife for 5 years before that. She found a new love at work and divorced me and essentially abandoned our 3 daughters. It almost destroyed me. I have had opportunities to be married again since then, but I have learned to enjoy my life as it is--it took about 10 years, though.

Yes I am for a couple of reasons. 1 is I lost someone whom I was truly and honestly inlove with almost 3 years ago and am still mourning her death. Eeveen if that was not a factor there aren't too many females between 35 and 45 who live within 100 miles of Philadelphia that are single and available.

Yes. Because my relationship with the mother of my son was in the toilet and we were together probably a year longer than we should have been. I finally had to walk away because I just couldn't do it anymore.
