Well no businesses are going to hire a thirteen year old as far as I know of. I'm pretty confident that would be illegal. The best thing to do would be to ask your parents if you can do any extras chores around the house for some pocket money or to ask your neighbors if they have any odd jobs they'd be willing to pay you for such as lawn mowing, weeding, etc.

House sit/ pet sit for the neighbors when they are away. 13 is too young to babysit, in my opinion, unless it was really close to home.

Odd jobs for neighbors, shoveling snow, mowing lawns, pet sitting, babysitting(if mature enough), shopping for an invalid. . .tutoring younger children, walking younger children to and from school.

hmmm well, at 13, i worked at a local grocery store, and then worked at a dairy farm when I was 14. At 16 now, I work at a mink farm, but I don't know if there is one near you.
