I've lost faith in current humanities capabilities/intelligence,but not the entire human race.I think there's still time for things to change and for people to reform.

I lost my last shred of faith in humanity when I decided to try to converse with the kids from the junior high across the street from my house, I found I could'nt even carry on a conversation with them without having to explain what I was saying in simpler terms after every sentence. It was really depressing to see 14 year olds who did'nt know what the word "Semantics" means.

Not at all. I have much faith in humanity. It's the one area I have blind, almost irrational faith. I believe it's easy to see only the negative in the world. Throughout history, people have often claimed to be witness to the downfall of humanity, the beginning of the end, the worst atrocities ever. This is because when fully immersed in the world, as we are, it's very easy to forget that there have always been problems and hatred and horrors and death and destruction. Just as it's equally easy to forget that there's beauty and love and compassion and progress and wonder to be found throughout the world. When we take a deep breath, release it, and step back to look at the broader picture of life, we can see not only the bad that humanity has done, but also the good. And if we look in a truly discerning way, we will see that there is far more good in the world than bad. Bad just gets bigger headlines. If this were not true, I don't believe that we would have gotten as far as we have. I believe we would have done ourselves in long ago.

I do not believe that everyone is humane but I have not lost faith in humanity. I believe the good people far outweigh the bad.

Yes I have lost faith in humanity. By nature I am a kind and giving person. I do not wish for bad things for anyone, be it a friend or foe. But the truth of the matter is more often than not I have been back-stabbed by close friends. Fact of the matter is that this world comprises of mostly selfish people. I have lost faith in humanity right now. When I do recover from the most recent betrayal, I guess I will rise again and hope to encounter that trace of goodness that may exist. I can only hope I am not disappointed yet again. But this time around, deep inside I believe that I will be and that's why I know I have lost faith in humanity although I do the right thing by looking for it. You may ask me why I look for something I know I will not find. That is because I need something to believe in while I live through this excuse for good mankind.

As a species, yes ... as individuals, yes and no, depending, ... in the various governments and societies of the world, a bit, but they really need to learn more from each other and they all need some sort of changes.

No, not at all. When I hear about stories like a man dieing in a convenience store and the only thing that 1 of the 5 people in the store could think to do was take a picture with their camera phone... No. That doesn't give me any room for faith. Don't trust other people, trust yourself. Your expectations will always be let down.

I'm a part of humanity and I haven't given up on myself yet. As long as I have the human condition, I never will. If there's people out there who have, then that gives me something to do. As soon as you see humanity as a WHOLE embrace faith in itself, you will see a new era.

I have faith in the apathy, incompetence and ignorance of humanity as a whole, or in large groups. However, I'm constantly and pleasantly surprised that there is a certain amount of faith to be had in individuals. As with all generalisations I freely admit there are always exceptions to both these 'rules'.

I rarely have faith in most people depending on their previous abilities to carry out what they say they will. But I don't necessarily live life helplessly. I learn, I live, I adapt.

I have faith that my fellow human beings are human beings and as such, will do as human beings do. I trust they will do what they want, and if things get too hard they may yield to their weaknesses.

We are all tangled in our daily commitments, few of us pay attention to needs of our far relatives, leave aside helping others. I once gave a poor man a $20 dollar bill, his face lit up in excitement and happiness, later that night I saw him at the local Beerstore with my 20 dollar bill. Coincidence? I beg to differ, God does not speak to us directly but rather with signs. I helped many but now that I have fallen, and broken down, all those who I helped, either dont answer back or say they are busy. Judging by the way things are going I believe we are in the final 100years of the world. Being a scientists my self, resources are not sufficient to last more than 50 years. When the world Fuel supply ends, US and Canada will start pumping out fuel and limit supply to rest of the world. This will bring chaos, Humanity? its a word, I would say the only few you can trust upon are those of the family blood.

Yes. I've lost faith in 99% of humanity. Why? Because look at all the horrible, evil and/or downright stupid things that people do.
