  • Yes, but I think that you know how I feel about it. I think that it would encourage more people to put more thought into their questions. I do understand that for the sake of being able to see the full question at a glance that their has to be a limit. But to be able to give a better perspective without having to wait for someone to answer or by answering you own question could only help.
  • That would be nice. It would save a lot of misunderstandings.
  • Yes. The way that it is now you have to put any elaboration or clarification as an answer and it can get lost among the other answers. That would be a good way to allow a question to have more substance. Good idea.
  • That would still annoy ABers who are annoyed by this but it might be better than a pointsable area (if they made it non pointsable). I think that would be a good idea.
  • Yes, because simply increasing the character limitation is not the answer. Most people skip right past a long-worded question, while the abbreviated ones often yeild a lot of assumptions. Then, you have to deal with the assumptions on each & every answer, instead of just one place for everyone.
  • Yes, very often I feel the need to simplify the question hence loosing the meaning from time to time. Hi Michael!! :)
