OK Ill rat on myself...I have never! and I am one who leaves her keys in the Truck regularly...but I live in small town Canada...things like that rarely happen here. (but now that I ratted...I'm gunna go grab my keys)

Somone smashed my car window and stole my Ipod.... the police took it really seriously and fingerprinted my car and CAUGHT the person! How cool is that.

No. In fact, I've never had anything stolen out of my vehicle at any time. I'm very fortunate on that score. However, I "did" lose something .. a light jacket .. that "I" left in the trunk of a rental car! Called them and noooooo .. nothing there. So only thing gone out of a car was my own darn fault. Go figure! :)

Five years ago we were driving back to Spain after the Xmas holiday in the UK and we stopped for a quick break at a motorway cafe/petrol station. Ten minutes later we returned (just south of Valencia). They broke into the rear door and stole everything. Sadly, I had a lot of jewellery, presents for all my birthdays, anniversarys, Xmas's over 25 years and all our gear. My heart was broken and I can still see the lovely rings and earrings, bracelets et., which were true love gifts from my husband. It was like they broke our lives and after that things between us seemed to go downhill too - like a magical story - but sadly true. We were not rich either, these were just love gifts. we shouldn't have left the car I know, but 10 minutes!

Christmas of 2000 my car was broken into and they got my stereo system.
