if they're not in water. actually if their water mixture is incorrect they get the wrong chemicals or something in them and they die.

Awwww!!!!!!! I doubt it... they probably absorb water through their gills, but I think fish survive and thrive in a tank that is properly balanced and with the right amount of fish food. Other than that, I think we need to rethink the phrase "drink like a fish"!
