I have a 2005 Saturn Ion - 5 speed. I have gone out to start my car, turn the key and nothing. Dashboard lights come on. Battery is good. Then I can go out 30 minutes later and it starts right up just like new.

Dashboard lights coming on do not indicate a good battery. Dash lights take a LOT less amperage than starting functions. It is common as the weather starts turn cool and moist for bad battery connections to work sporadically. Clean your battery connections thoroughly, and coat with vaseline or other moisture inhibiting coating.
