  • There aren't really any cliques at our school. People just hang out with whoever they like, regardless of labels. It's a pretty friendly high school, come to think of it.
  • the TPs, the popular bitches, popular assholes/jocks, and the rest are just randoms like me :P
  • most people at my school are prep, rocker and a few are emo and gangsta (my school is so big that there no popular or unpopular group)
  • Chavs and moshas there are small spinter groups but they are to small to count for any thing
  • mostly polish theirs ALOT of them
  • emos, chavs, plastics, moshers, goths there are people in each group that hang out with each other though.
  • Chavs Emos Scene kids Skaters Rockers Wannabes Skaters Freaks n Geeks And then there is me and Becky, who don't fit into any of it, not even freak n Geek! It's nice being individuals though
  • Hicks outnumber any other group. Next come preps, then jocks, then punks/skaters, and the rest are non-denomination types, like me. The strange thing is, most people, no matter what their main group, have a little bit of "hick" in them.
  • The first high school I went to didn't really have any well defined cliques. There was a pretty diverse crowd, but just about everybody got along fairly well with one another, there weren't really any stigmas attached to certain groups. At the community college I attended, I noticed that a lot of the asians who were very involved in school activities and russians were pretty exclusive with each other, but there weren't any discernable cliques outside of those. Back to a different high school again and everybody epitomizes their stereotype (just about all of them). It was awful!
  • Jocks/Cheerleaders The popular kids and their cling-ons Band geeks (like me) Preppie Grunge Complete outcasts Hicks
  • yeah, we have prep, emo, jock, nerds, we have the whole nine yards lol.
  • Nerds, populars, normal, emo.
  • the burnouts and the motorheads
  • Nerds Emo's Bogans Every1 else
  • Its kinda odd u got preppy girls redkneck guys outcasts(far outnumber the former 2) Emo and the ppl that are sometimes called geeks but theyr not all like htat
  • When I was in highschool the main cliques were the preps/jocks, geeks, goths, gangsters, emos, punk rockers, and stoners. I made friends with everyone though. I was athletic and a straight A student so I was sort of a jock/geek.
  • Chavs Emos Moshers Moshavs Skaters Freaks Nerds Wierdos Geeks Drama Queens Gays Puffs Extreme Feminimes Lemons Smokers Whores / Tarts Me Townies Theres more but i can't remember them all off by heart
  • I went to an arts school so everyone already came with a convenient label according to their artistic discipline.
  • emos,skaters,goths,preps,geeeks,gangsters,and want a bes!!!
  • at my high school truly their are no cliques its not even weird to us for a freshman to be friends with a senior.
  • I ignored most of them.
  • preppies Freaks Nerds Artists Band geeks normals
  • Let me think...This is how it works at my school. I go to GW Hewlett High School -The sluts -The gangstas of all races -The jocks and cheerleaders -The spanish kids(they all hang out and know each other at my school) -The smart kids -The skater kids -The emo kids -The wannabee rockers -The skater/rocker/sporty/smart kids -The band kids who are all extremely smart(who are oddly the coolest ones in my school) -The rest that don't quite fit into any of those catagories, the normal kids. I have at least one or two friends in every one of those catagories, but I would be put into the skater/rocker/sporty/smart kids . That's usually how it works at my school, you're friends with at least one other person in one other group of people, but most of your friends are your group.
  • It's been a while since I was in school (2000) But it was mainly just Jocks, Preps,Preps, and Nerds. I went to a Prep School
  • The "Don't call me emo" scene kids The Unpopular, yet somehow Cheerleaders The Popular Cheerleaders The disgusting rich kids The disgusting, in general kids Soccer Players "I play everything but soccer" players The nerds, and geeks The people who watch too much Jackass. Skaters Art-fags "Non-conformists" The kids who dress like bohemians? Neo-hippies, maybe?
  • When I was in school we had the: Jocks Nerds Druggies Preppies Posers and last but not least the girls that walked around and thought their sh*t don't stink, but as Mom says -"Their farts give them away". Ha Ha!
  • Well, this isn't all of them, but these are the main ones: -Preps *shivers* -Choir Kids (My main group) -Emos (My other group) NOTE: The town I live in is nicknamed "Slutsville," if that gives you a better picture. It's the number one city in the state for teenage pregnancy. People have even made SHIRTS belive it or not. My personal favorite? FRONT: "True love waits..." BACK: "But not in ____." I left out the town's name, if you didn't already figure that out ;-)
  • Let's see... it was kind of a while ago. The skaters and punks hung out together and smoked cigarettes outside. The preps and the jocks were usually the same people, but not always. This was the eighties, mind you, so there were a lot of metal-heads. There were nerds, of course. We also had a lot of hicks and dirtbags (often part of the metal crowd, but not always). Then there were the blacks and wiggers... Everyone was pretty well interconnected at my school, except for the jock crowd. Everyone was pretty much united against them, and they had their own little parties (must have been little - there weren't many of them) and never came to ours.
  • do u mean clichés? well in our secondary school there are "goths" chavs and scals (scally thug people) and then the average noone group - basically quite a few of our year 11 are in that group!
  • Chavettes.
  • There were no cliques at my school. People had groups of friends but pretty much everyone got on, and no-one was grouped by how they dressed, the music they listened to etc.
  • Tends to be hordes of chavs but there is a massive variance. No one is particularly of any emo or whatever culture in the 6th form, which i think is good.
  • Nerds/Geeks Wanna-be-gangsters Preps Skaters Popular people Unpopular people And the general go away we don't like you kids
  • well right now skaters emos preps (im in the prep group) we need to work on being nicer to people any advice for our group?

  • Smart Popular Stupid, Jock Popular >These groups are divided into nice and asshole popular Slutty Popular The Marin City group(The ghetto of Mill Valley) The foursquare group The Outcast group The Art Group The semi-emo group The Wangsta group(s) The other groups don't really have anything defining about them. The stoners are mixed in with all of the groups, considering the fact that my high school has one of the highest marijuana use of all schools in California. There are also some small groups that migrate between the larger groups.
  • Jocks Stoners Brainiacs Preppies Nerds Misfits
  • At my school, most people stick together because of some sort of club. These clubs span all sorts of the usual social cliques. We have: Academic Team Computer geeks Journalists Drama Club Musicians (any type of music - in school or out) Debate Team Video Producers (can't find a better name) Spanish/French enthusiasts History buffs Burnouts Sports enthusiasts (many are not jocks) Cheerleaders (Span from the biggest bitchy slut to the nicest person you will ever meet) Black kids who take everything as a racist comment Assholes with a D+ average who think they own the school and somehow get all the girls. Well, I guess the last two aren't clubs, but they both irritate me and there are enough of them to be called a clique.
  • Preps/Jocks (Preppy girls play basketball and volleyball, guys play basketball and football.) Overzealous Christians/Band Geeks/Cheerleaders (Girls are obese, guys look like Holocaust victims. Girls are often cheerleaders.) Wannabe Preps/Jocks (Most likely starve themselves and participate in Track) Losers/Cheerleaders/Choir Geeks (Me and various other people who just don't fit in. With guys it's mostly geeks and metalheads, with girls it varies from pseudo-preps to dorks like me. Girls in this group are also often cheerleaders.)
  • i am in the 7th grade and i am a sk8r and a prep. ill wear pink one day then all black the next

  • i go to a small ass school. yesss, we have like 367 students. [pre-k to 12th grade] but like every other schools, there are cliques. -The "Popular" Group. -The "Feeling" Popular Group. -The Geeks. -The Random Kids. -The Assholes. [bunch of guys who all cares about is sex] -The Freaks/Band Geeks.[actually, it's odd cause the freaks/emo/punks or i'll refer to as the 'scene kids' were considered cool, mainly because of how they look] -The Invisibles. -lastly; The disgusting gangsters. =/
  • I have a small school... but we have a few preps. I hate preps.
  • The Jocks The guys that act "gay" The "So called Christians" The "Real Christians" The outcasts The randoms The dorks The computer geeks and many more. I fit in the "Real Christian/Random" group, but prefer to not be in a group. I like to be independant.
  • you gotta love the lil skater punks..lol
  • Most people weren't anything. We had a few hippie types, even less grungy types.
  • Well when I was in school there were many cliques. Everyone stood in "the common's" ( a big area where students hung with their friend's before the bell rang) in groups. The groups were preps, burnouts, nerds, arabic, asian, blacks and whites. Everyone got along, but for some reason when we had free time with friends we seperated in groups and everyone stood in the same area everyday, like it was our spot. lol very funny!!
  • at my college there are: The sports guys (jocks) The fully sick guys with there super sick cars and music The pretty/mean girls that float between the above groups The band members/individuals The smokers (durries) The emos and gothics The not so pretty girls who cant wait to the yr 12 pretty girls leave The nerds/smart people/not so social The really nice girls who are pretty but dont try The guys who want to be the jocks and the fully sick people cause they get the chicks but cant because they are only yr 11 The skaters (sadly a group slowly dying within the school) The scene rats The artists/wanna be artists The gangstas The in between group group there are alot of groups at my school, im not fond of most of them especially the mean girls, jocks, emos and gangstas.
  • The Girls Who Wear Too Much Makeup The Guys Who Think they’re From the Hood (They're not) The Skaters The I Want To Be Emo Kids The Teacher's Assistants The Girls Who Can Beat You Up The Guys Who Often Get Beat Up The Failures The Druggies The People Who Nobody Actually Knows They're Names (I fall in this one)
  • The emo depressed kids, the punk skaters, the geeky stupid nerds, the "cool" gangsters, The abnormal ones who don't fit.
  • I go to EGR middle school, so all the groups are kinda preppy (sadly), but heres what i call them... -baseball jocks -football jocks -sport nuts who nobody knows -black kids (no raceisim intended) -retarted kids (no prejiduce intended) -annoying popular kids -sick, filthy, greasy, disgusting perverted bastards who are obsessed with michael jackson (and not cuz of his music) -skaters -nice girls -popular nice girls -kids with no distinguishing personality traits -rebels (1 of my groups) -video game geeks (another of my groups) -wanna-be's -suck-up's (to popular kids) -wierd girls -annerexic girls
  • We had "preps" and "culture queers." Preps included all the jocks and cheerleaders and who could be considered nerds. Culture queers were the skaters, drama club people, pre-goths (I don't think they were really called "goth"), and potheads.
  • The only one I noticed smoked pot out behind the seminary building between every class. Maybe I was just too stoned to notice the others. I was always looking for a drinking fountain!
  • we had 2 groups basically when I was in HS the geeks and the cool kids. I was no where near a cool kid but did manage to hang with some of the hottest girls in my HS.
  • My whole class was made up of a bunch of hippies.. lol
  • Geeks, losers, preps, freaks (I'm here), the very ordinary people who tend to hang with the freaks and a few emo-wannabes that hang with the geeks (weird, I know.)
  • everyone is prep :(
  • From my point of view there is the jrotc gang (my home away from home) i see all the preps and bitches (they are waaay annoying) band/musical geeks (some awesome kids there) the normal kids that are just there to study and have fun (i like to myself in this group as well ^_^) the pot heads/emo/scene/skater kids that hate to be called pot heads/emo/scene/skater kids (some of them are cool) the complete losers that have no chance at any social life in high school unless its with other loser (sad but true :( ) there is probably more but this is all that i have encountered in school...they arnt really cliques, there just groups. there arnt any rules that you cant associate with people from other groups. preps date pot head (or are pot heads...) emo kids date band kid (or are in band) its just a big mix with a faint line separating us
  • In my Day it was the JOCKS & SKATERS:)

  • hippies, surfers.....it's been a while.
  • We had the "Skaters" spelled with an 8 LOL they used to hang out in the (air quote) cool spots like the "pit" which was where they would convregate and smoke. Then you had the "Givers" (country music lovers) and the drifters (which is what I was) and we really didn't have too many problems with the other groups and basically drifted between all of the groups, oh and there was also the "Nates" which lived on the reserve and would get bused into town to go to school, they used to hang out basically together and most of which were really rude (almost maphia-ish)but you would find them hanging out together or intermingled with the other groups. And then there where the artsy type people but they all seemed to belong to one of the other groups as well but hung out in the hallway alot more then the other groups.

  • Emo wasn't around when I was growing up... We had preps, rockers, goth/alternative, skaters, that's all I can think of right now.
  • In order of popularity in the school: Preps- the smarties and nerds that ruled the school. Fashion and footwear was completely ruled by them. If you don't wear flip flops to school like everyone else, then you're considered "out" The jocks- school pride and leader of the student body, well-liked, popular, played sports really well. My school is famous for its sport team (particularly basketball and baseball). Hangs out in the parking lot. The goths- generally well-liked by everyone in the school, rude The cholos- hangs out together, kinda rude and mean, but not really. Hangs out in the library at most times. The Koreans- there are more Koreans in my school than any other Asian types. They generally are nice, but don't really care about you unless you're Asian too. The emo types (ME)- less than a few people in the school, about 1 or 2 people who are emo. Hangs out in the cafeteria or library. Refuses to participate in school functions. The gossip freaks- they are usually the ones that disrspect the teacher and makes rude comments in class.
  • Wow. Well i do not belive that people should label one another at all. But at lunch and such people like to hang out with "there own kind" >,< They call me and my friends the "emos" And we sit with our fiends and the "freaks" I geuss people would say we have a lot of "gangsters" and "the popular kids" But i do not agree with the label thing. It's overrated.
  • emo's (wanna be emo-fashion wise, no bad life etc.) skaters stoners stoner skaters real "cutter" emo's cheerleaders hippies stoner hippies school geeks/nerds computer workers (geeks as some call them) preps (like "Oh my God!! • they were emo/punk "gangsters" cheerleaders hung out with skaters "the Bitches" ussually hung out with the gangsters and i was one when i was in high school they were the sluts too.they were the ppl you never wanted to mess with. skaters
  • We had goth, prep, gangsta, geeks, and crunchies. Crunchies were like grunge/skaters/sometimes preppy. What is emo? I dont think we had that in my school (Graduated 2000)
  • The school I went two had only two 'cliques', criminal and misfit.. the predator and the prey. All just displaced people. I don't agree with labeling people, all this 'emo' bullshit makes me laugh. Kids grasping desperately at an identity that has no substance.
  • rednecks and preppy kids
  • CEO Upper Management Directors Coordinators Acquisitions Analysts lol
  • right now theres only really 3-4 main ones 1, the bad kids who skip/smoke/do badish in school 2, the super smart ones who are still cool 3, the people who think their cool but aren't 4, the unknowns
  • we had skaters (drug users), jocks, leadership, geeks, and russians. serious only russians were racialy grouped, everyone else blended grains in a pepear shaker
  • We had burnouts, jocks, nerds & normal kids
  • thugs, rockers, preps, jocks, ravers, nerds
  • back in the 90's we had skaters, stoners, preppies, jocks, cowboys and nerds.
  • EMO?? We were Union and Confederate
  • I don't really feel like digging through all the posts to find out if this is original or not, but at our school there was a group called the cowboys. Seeing as I grew up in Magna, Utah, we're not cowboy country, and some see this group as a bunch of posers, with their big and often interactive belt buckles, the stereotypical cowboy hat, and the very pointy cowboy boots with spurs.
  • I never liked attachments much. I agree with The marquis de sade on that note. "Anything shared, lessens the experience." I needed friends... But I hopped a lot. I never hung with one group or person for too long. A few years here and a few years there. I was too much of an oddball for that snuggle fabric softener closeness you can feel crap.
  • we only have one clique, and thats the preps
  • we have stoners art kids scene kids emo kids skater kids prep kids jocks idiots loners creppy corner anime kids
  • What a stupid question.
  • preps, and goths. everyone kinda looks the same. they all wear hollister, so it's hard to tell. ha.
  • id say the main clique in my school, which im in 10th grade, is probably gangster or those weird people who act like theyre all cool cuz they wear peace signs and stuff...
  • Redneck preps, scene, TV techs, and the rest.
  • When I first started high school we still had some of the grunge kids left.. but the more popular cliques in school were the smart kids and the drama kids.. I fell into the drama kids.. but I was also a band geek :)
