  • Have you tried a fitness center? Working out can really do wonders.
  • You need to determine why you seek approval from other people. It is your perception that this approval is lacking which undermines your opinion of yourself. Looking outside yourself (workshops / books) just reinforces your feelings of inadequacy. Try to recall when the lack of self esteem first arose - what was happening in your life / relationshps at the time? Apart from any other attribute, you are a better speller than most contributors!
  • maybe you are putting too much focus on yourself. try doing more for others. helping people is satisfying, and it helps get your mind off of yourself some, and it also helps you realize how awesome you are.
