Get a Honda, they are cheap and very reliable. Corollas are nice as well but I have owned a 2002 Accord and has been trouble free all the time
Go for a good second-hand with a warranty from a reputable dealer. Let somebody else deal with any of the common new-car problems, and you'll also get more car for the same amount of money as well as not losing as much in depreciation.
Can the VIN number reveal owner history?

You're reading Should I buy a new car or second hand car? Toyota sirion new cost NZ$17k. for similar price i can get 2004 or 2006 Camry or corolla. Both price from car dealer ( dealers check used car before selling, don't they)
