    That would depend how you define that ten - for example, I'm not exactly The Stig, However, I can Drive very well, and I'm above average at Drifting.

    I consider myself an excellent driver. I am defensive and keep my eyes on other drivers because I know that some of them are not too good! I'm a 10

    I used to be top 10%, but between a tendency to fall asleep at the wheel and a general dislike for driving these days, I'd prefer a self-driving car these days.

    8.5-9 or so. I use hand controls, and OCCASIONALLY get "distracted". (When I KNOW I'm going to be, I try to make sure there's NO one around me, and I can keep control.) :-P

    It depends on who is in the car.. if it's anyone I care about I'm a 10- 11.5.. if its just me and I'm having an off day... welll lets just say stick to the side roads for now.

    Figuring that nobody is perfect, I'll settle for an eight. I drive most everything from two to eighteen wheels, except for professional race cars, although I have done some sanctioned drag racing on motorcycles. (NHRA)

    today probably an 8 as I don't drive as much as I once did say 10 yr ago which was about 1200 miles a week then I would have said 9, haven't had a ticket or been stopped in over 25yrs

    I am a great driver = 10....I always expect the next person to be an idiot so I am on the defense all the time....I know where cars are at, at all times....front back and sides....I use my signals even when people aren't around....I pull in to the proper lane and signal to change lanes....I am courteous and pull in to the outside lane to allow merging.....

    Eight. I've driven 788,000 miles since 1954 when I got my permit. I've had one accident, two speeding tickets (when I was a teen) in sixty-five years.

    Plus I've ridden a Schwinn bicycle 33,000 miles during that time, not a lot by cyclist's standards.

    Sometimes I'm a good driver because I decide to stay off the road, biking or walking to do an errand.

    Maintaining a safe car is part of being a good driver. How many people walk around the car before driving off, just to make sure tires are inflated and lights are working?

    the answers given here illustrate why auto racing is the most popular spectator sport ... most guys realize they're not big enough or tall enough or fast enough to be a pro football, basketball, baseball, or whatever player ... and they accept that ... but sooooo many guys think they're great drivers, and tell themselves that if they were just given half a chance they could be race car drivers, so they strongly identify and fantasize while watching NASCAR
