If the mother is unable, could a man breastfeed a baby? If not, what is the point of men having nipples?

No a man can not breastfeed a baby because he cannot produce milk. The purpose of nipples on a man? Nature is funny... we have a lot of appendiges and so forth that serve no viable function... like the appendix in the intestines... the caudal appendage (what was or could have been a tail). Even if men's nipples don't serve a practica function, they are sensitive, and sometimes they are fun to tickle when making love.

well... actually a man could breastfeed a baby. but that would take alot of hormonal therapy. not many men would want to do that. maybe a gay couple with an adopted baby...

Men have nipples becuase in the early developing stages of fetuses, we are all designed as women. It is only later that the male genatailia developes.
