What is your opinion about the RH bill?(the question is limited only to the concerned citizen of the Philippines...well, if there is/are any concerned individual/s out there, i'd love to hear your views)

- there are ways in which we can view it. 2 most prominent views are that of the Church and of the State. The church is indeed right that in a way it is immoral because it is prohibiting life to take place. However, on the other hand, it is evident that the time calls for such a bill. Why? First, isn't it better to prevent life to take place rather than allow it to exist and later on kill it through abortion or by giving it a bad life? Second, even if people are essentially good, let's admit that people have grown irresponsible and have been astray to the the teachings of the church. We can reform a person, but that would take years, with RH bill the problem of unwanted pregnancy, STD and abortion can be solved or at least be lessen. Third, people have the right to control their life. The church should not keep the law to take effect. Let the people decide for themselves. For them to disagree with the bill is like saying that they don't trust the decision of their people. If they have taught well the people of their teachings they should not worry even if the bill becomes a law. Fourth, let's talk about the position of the State. The 1987 Phil Constitution under Art 2 Sec 6 states that there is a separation between the church and state. We can never fully separate the two, that's a fact. The church as a sector of the society has the right to air out their sentiments. However, the state must not be overwhelmed by such comments. What would be best for the people must prevail.
