Thanks for your wise warning, John. I do not order checks from out-of-state; in fact I have gone "paperless". Thanks to on-line banking I don't write checks at all.

I have gotten mine from a great place/company called Currents in Colorado now for about 6-7 years. They cost 1/2 or so what my own bank tries to rip me off for, and they look exactly the same, and I can also get FREE return address lables with each order! I don't have DL or SS # on them anymore. I also rarely use checks, except when I cannot use my debit card online or by phone and pay online. I used to write probably 20-25 checks a month. Now I write 2-3 a month is all.

If you order directly from your bank, they will charge you the highest price possible. This is the site I use for replacement checks: http://iwantchecks.com. You can reorder replacement checks from any bank in the USA, and the prices are very low.
