Have you ever witnessed animal abuse at a zoo or circus?

I have been to zoos in third world countries and the zoo itself was a form of animal abuse. The thing is, that when humans are also suffering terribly, they can't really recognize the suffering of the animal. When humans rise to a higher level of consciousness, those things which used to be acceptable, no longer seem so. They see them for the brutality that they are, and then they can make the societal changes to treat animals with more compassion.

No.The zoos that I have been to seem to take care of the animals. I think that zoos are good because they are educational. Not so sure about circuses tho.

Aren't all zoos and circuses abusive to animals? Think about it..a life in prison, in captivity, for a crime that was never committed..All to earn a few bucks off of the curiosity of others.. Zoos can never provide the acreage that wild animals would naturally have, and whether we can admit it or not, they will suffer from being deprived of their natural habitat. Regards, Mango
