Why do Half-Castes always consider themselves to be black when they are both white & black?

i think because the colour of their skin is usually dark. I know this guy thats half white half philipino and he calls himself white but he has darker skin dark eyes and black hair. :)

because apparently in 2008 it is "hip" to be considered black..where as white is almost an insult in some places
