You mean...WHY OR why not, right? I like the rain because I am a northwesterner. There really is no point in disliking it since I have to deal with it so frequently. It has come to remind me of my new home.
-
.
-
I like rain when I am sleeping and in the middle of a hot summer day...other than that no
-
I love the way the end of the question makes the assumption that I don't like the rain :) Depending what mood I'm in, I either love or loathe the rain. If I've done my hair and makeup, and set out looking half human, than I'm not a huge fan of the rain that day. However, when I'm feeling more reflective, I like to go for long walks in the rain with my hat and scarf fastened tightly round my head!
-
As a desert dweller, I appreciate every drop of moisture. I love the smell of rain, I love the puddles (when it rains enough that one actually forms), I love walking in it and I love the accompanying thunder and lightning.
-
I love rain specially in summer. Where I grew up we used to run on the streetsa and get drenched and soaked in water. The earth smells so beautiful when it rains. The birds hiding under the tree, the drops of rain on flowers, everything looks clean and washed.
-
Summer rain, yum! any other season, or with wind, yuck
-
Yes rain is great, especially in spring and summer. It waters the trees and grass, sounds fantastic to listen to sitting out on a porch, was great to play in as a kid and is the best way to cleanse and freshen the air. Even in the colder days of fall or winter it's nice to watch the rain with a hot cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate and feel good and warm in the house!
-
I love the rain on a tin roof so peaceful
-
I love rainy days. They make me much happier than bright sunny days.

-
Yes, when I am at home or at the office when I know I am going to be there for a while. Not when I am walking down the street..
-
Very much, I like the sound and feeling cosy inside. I can cope being out in the wet as well (it is easy to change, dry off and have a warm shower afterwards). Only thing I don't like is driving in the rain.
-
I love the rain when I can stay indoors, pop in a movie and drink some hot cocoa with my girl. When I'm trying to run errands, well that's a different story.

I love it. :] I was dancing in the rain just this afternoon.

LOVE it. It's been acting like it's trying to rain here all week. Hasn't yet though. I think I like the weather before it rains even more than the rain.

Yes. Here in southeast Texas when it rains between now and November it is like a warm shower. Amazing to ma as a former Northerner.

I Love the Rain - it's so peacful to me I just noticed this is a DUPLICATE QUESTION
-
I'm only happy when it rains. A nice forceful downpour is quite fun to sit on my stoop and watch. Lightning can be a real show indeed.
-
I love the rain a lot. Especially at the moment as we are in an 11 year long drought (the worst since Australia was settled), rain even makes the news when it happens these days.
-
I love rain, and storms. It is a very calming sound when it is making that steady noise on the water or a car roof I like to walk in the rain too.

I love the rain . I love the sound of it and the way it makes the earth smell afterwards. It smells clean.

Yes i love the rain. Such a nice noise when your sitting stationary in the car, or in an attic room. Very soothing sound. I dont enjoy it when ive straightened my hair, it makes it go all frizzy and i get soaked! I also dont like it when i big lorry drives past you when its drizzeling and makes your windscreen all dirty. Other than that yeah i love it!
-
I love the rain. I find it comforting, cleansing, soothing... even though it often plays hell with my allergies and asthma.
-
Yup...I find it very calming and relaxing!
-
Generally yes. I don't really like ice cold rain, but there are even times where I enjoy that. I mostly like being somewhere that is really warm (southern utah for example) when it rains. I love how the steam rises from the ground in a down pour places like this.. I often will walk in the rain, it helps me think, and calms me down. Plus, when I am thinking about something, no body notices whatever facial expressions I show, or if I cry, and the smell of wet earth is soothing to me.
-
Yes, it has carried over from when I used to work landscaping, a rain day was a free day.
-
No i don't like rain i love rain i just love the smell of the earth when it gets wet its just amazing its my favorite kind of weather.

-
If youve nothing planned and you want a lazy day! if its raining outside you dont feel so bad! its good like that! hmm in scotland think that means everyday woohoo!
-
I love the rain. I like the sound and the smell of it. I love to sit inside and watch it rain outside the window, with one of the windows cracked open so I can hear it, and get that nice wet rain smell inside the house. I don't mind driving in it, or going to work in it, or anything. I just hate that other people become horrible drivers in the rain. They scare me.
-
Yes as long as its not too windy at the same time! I also love the rain during the night when you are in bed and wake to hear the drumming sound... you are all nice and tucked up warm... ooh its a great feeling.
-
I love the rain, the sound, the way the woods smell after it's all wet. I love the feel of the air after the lightening storm. i usually leave a window open to hear the breezes and drops outside.
-
Well, I live outside in the forest, so I have to.
-
I love the rain to walk in when it is warm. Though I must admit having lived in England this Summer, my love of the wet stuff has diminished somewhat.
-
I used to. But, lately, I have grown to dread it. I has rained nearly everyday for the past two months. On the other hand, when it doesn't rain, it gets unbelievably hot. I should just pack up and move to California. I hear the it never rains in southern California. lol
-
Drizzles, sprinkles, light showers, and even moderate warm rain, YES ... but hard, torrential downpour, with low temperatures and high winds, and resulting floods, NO.
-
Love the rain :D:D:D Especially the smell after the rain. Such a natural feeling. Makes me feel so relax and comfortable. The raining sound is really sweet too. Like a melody.

Yes. I love it. I hate it. Love wins. Love always wins. And rain is good for us. And I hate drought worse. So, let it rain and I will rejoice when the sun shines ... And when it rains ... And I have no control over either. Darn good thing <g>.
-
I love the rain. I was born right in the middle of a rainstorm and have always loved the sound of rain.
-
Love love love love love love love. It is so rare in California as to be almost a fantasy..a rainy day...how treasured that would be. So to clarify my answer, in case I was a bit fuzzy about it, I love the rain! :)
-
Neither, it simply is or is not.
-
No; I love rain and love to play and go for walks in the rain. Rain is also an important element in the growth of all plants. Can you imagine, if we had no rain where would the food crops, plants, forestry, rivers and lakes and wild animals get water from? Rain is very essential and important in our daily lives.
-
It reminds me of wobbly old boobs. I'm not saying any more.
-
I love the rain, the sound of it, the smell, thunder and lighting that comes with it. But there is such a thing as too much rain. I've had that too, especially last year in June when it flooded allover our area and so many friends lost their homes or lost businesses. Very sad and destructive:-(
-
I LOVE RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

I like it. Yesterday is was raining lightly, on and off on my drive from work. I stopped in at the grocery store first. When I was leaving the store it was a complete downpour. Everyone who had already purchased their groceries was waiting for it to die down. I walked out and went to my car. Didn't run or jog. Just normal walking speed. It was quite nice.
-
I love the rain in the countryside..not rain in the city! Just imagine the pollution raining down at you..Ü

Love it! Unless I'm in a depression that's getting old, then I just feel like it's over the top dreary.
-
I love, especially when it rains in the morning ,I `m off and can sleep longer
-
i like to sleep when it's raining outside
-
Usually people say rain makes them depressed, but rain makes me so happy. What depresses me is when it's sunny and 100+ degrees outside :(, Which it usually is in Arizona. So whenever we get rain I jump for joy.
-
Depends. I like having a little drizzle once in awhile and going out in it, especially when I'm surrounded by greenery because I feel it doing wonders to my skin and lungs. I also like an occassional rainy night because there's a feeling of coziness. BUT what I hate is having consecutive days of nothing but rain. I would rather having one big thunderstorm (my favorite form of rain) with major downpour as oppose to a week of light drizzle. Bottom line, I prefer sunshine.
-
yes i love the rain special kissing in the rain i think is to romantic + 2
-
Yes i like rain sometimes cause it is cozy when your in the house and you hear the rain falling down.

I love the rain, it's raining where I am at the moment. I like listening to it hit the roof and it's calming effect makes me sleep better, being a water baby I love anything to do with water and rain is the best thing. I love rainy days sitting on the couch curled up watching dvd's with a loved one. I like the hours after it has rained when everything is so clean and the air is clear.
-
Not when I have the flu :)
-
I like the rain, I like listening to it. I just don't like it when it decides to occur on every outdoor activity I plan!
-
well, sometimes, there's gonna be a picnic or a beach party, and you've been waiting 3 months for this to take place. Suddenly, it's starts raining, and all the food is wrecked, plus, school's tomorrow. Unless you don't go to school anymore, you hate rain for the next 5 weeks of your life.
-
Well, I agree with anything you say! But, honestly, I agree with you about the rain. Clothes and hair dries right up. Now, sometimes it washes the notes out of the little note booklet I carry or gets my cigarettes wet, but on the whole I really don't care if it rains or shines. Did I say I agree with anything you say? Just want to be sure.
-
I don't know why people complain about the rain so much. It's pathetic.
-
It's not the rain, it's the gray, gray, gray. I moved away from Minnesota when I hadn't seen the sky for 45 days in a row - not even a peek. I still get a little blue when it rains, but nothing like that.
-
I love the rain...after all I have lived in a rain forest for 60 years...but in the winter...after 40 or 50 days of straight gray rainy days it can really get to you...

it makes my hair look like I bit a wire. It frizzes EVEN if i don't step outside. I love the rain but my 2 hrs spent on making my hair straight goes to waste around rainy weather.
-
Well I dont hate it. But in my area we have had so much rain that much of my area has been hit by massive flooding. In one community of 23 houses, all but 3, were washed into ruins!
-
I grew up with gray skies and so much rain. I feel so much better living in the sunny states. But I now enjoy a rainy day, thunder and lightening! we do need the rain but unfortunately it rains moe where it is not appreciated and less where it is needed most!
-
