I'm a dork, because I am drawn to the ugly unwanted materials of mass production. Also I cannot be a geek because I think a term like geek refers to somebody very knowlegeable on certain topics, or areas.

I discussed this question with my friends at the chess club - but one of them couldn't answer because he was having an asthma attack at the time, another was extracting his underwear from his nether regions ( I think you might call that vein of attack a ....er wedgie), and after the third one got his head out of the toilet where it had been shoved by some of the more manly sporting types, he got back to discussing whether to use Larson's or Sopolsky's Openings. So we never really got to find an answer, because then the original series of Star Trek was about to start on the tv, and my grandmother had just knit me a new star trek sweater, so I had to go.
