You ask for six. I know of four - maybe some of your categories are really just off-shoots of these 4 main ones: 1. The main way is by a writ of certiorari - a petition to the Supreme Court for review. 2. Certification by a lower court. They "certify" that a legal question exists and send the case up to the Supreme Court for review. 3. By appeal. You can appeal up from a state supreme court ruling on matters of constitutional magnitude. 4. Finally - if the Supreme Court has "original jurisdiction" (for example, a dispute between states) - this is rare. Hope this helps.
