  • To a parent, every child is beautiful.
  • I know my mother loves me but she DID admit to me that she thought I was an "ugly baby" it hurt me but I never told her. I was in middle school at the time and already being picked on by other kids (for other reasons) so it made it that much worse. I don't believe there are "ugly babies" or people if they're good. Perhaps for obvious reasons, but either way I'm all the better for it. I don't want to make my mother sound horrible so for the record she told me I was beautiful countless times growing up.
  • To a parent every child is beautiful, I thought mine was, but I heard from EVERYONE what a beautiful baby I had and I was afraid it would go to her head. I started calling her my precious ugly baby. When she was about 3 her Mama said something to her about what a pretty baby she was and she replied, "But my daddy don't think so".... I cried when Mama told me about it. I never again called her my ugly baby. Heck just telling this story now, (baby is 20) I get teary.
  • I'm entirely too good looking to make an ugly baby;-). When I get home, I'll see if I can post a picture of her.
