Which of the following of the endocrine system glands still remains much of a mystery as to all its functions? pituitary gland, pineal gland, isles of langerhans, adrenal gland

    Pineal. They are all neccessary, but not entirely understood. Your thyroid up until now, was grossly underestimated as well.

    I believe the pineal gland is the least understood.
