  • In a tofu cheese cake. Put a brick of tofu in the blender with a cup of liquid,(coffee, vanilla syrup, banana rum, whatever you like), add a single serving of powdered hot chocolate mix and an egg, blend the everloving daylights out of it, overblend, pour into a graham cracker crust and bake 350 1 hr (till it's pretty firm). Chill and top with whipped cream. -can make many variations of this recipe, blend in a couple of bananas and a couple tsp lemon juice for the liquid and stir in fruit before baking (uses less sugar that way), make your own crust from wheat germ and oats. pretty adaptable, Bon appetit
  • First off, DRAIN IT! Most people forget this and get a sodden mass that tastes like crap. I personally stir fry it, but it is the first ingredient in the wok. Tofu picks up the flavors of whatever else is around it and depending on what oil you are frying with that can make quite a difference.
  • Deep fried!!! Cut firm tofu into small chunks and marinate it in soy sauce for a few hours. Dip the marinated chunks in flour, then beaten egg, then plain bread crumbs. Make sure they are coated well during each step. Lastly, fry them in veggie oil until they are golden brown. There's just about nothing better then taking a nice, healthy food product and deep frying it. Yum!
