South Park. Family Guy is also vulgar, but most of the jokes will go over young teens' heads, as they relate to pop-culture events of 20 years ago or more.

family guy is more appropriate. south park is probably the most racist vulgar and offensive show out there. i love the show, but not for kids. family guy is more humor than vulgarity

I think they are both inappropriate and I remember having my step son, when he was about 10, at a Video King, throwing the worst fit because I wouldn't let him rent South Park movie/show/video. His Dad and I got into a huge argument over that one. Family Guy can get pretty nasty too but it is less so than South Park, in my opinion. Whatever happened to Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck?

Well, neither. If the kids realise it's all a parody of our modern society. It's not that difficult to spot the sarcasm. I watched South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut when I was 10 or so, and I didn't find it a problem.. but then, that movie is so grotesque that everybody should be able to comprehend that the things said in the show isn't a representation of the viewpoints of the people behind it
