  • Being in the right place at the right time. Nothing more.
  • Luck is all about attitude. My cousin crashed his motorcycle and was in a coma with a collapsed lung. He was back to work within 2 weeks. Some would say it is bad luck that he had an accident; we feel that it is good luck that he is alive. My brother was at a concert and there was a fire. He was in a coma for 2 weeks; we consider him lucky to be alive- 100 other people did not survive that fire. I was given the chance to write a book. I worked on the book in 30-36 hour shifts with only 1-3 hour breaks in between for 5 weeks in order to meet the publisher's deadline. I was lucky to get a book deal, but it was only lucky because I applied myself to the task and created lucky results. If you are lucky enough to live in a place with readily available electricity, computers, internet, food and freedom; if you have loved ones to care about and are not dealing with death- appreciate that incredible luck while you have it. The rest is just extra toppings on the pizza.
  • luck or lucky, is what you were when talking about the past. When someone says good luck its like peeing in the wind, but i guess its the thought that counts ;)
